Business Development Coordinator

Main Objective:

Support growth of key strategic and sales relationships in areas including Academic, Government, Non-profit, and other related channels.

Position Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist the business development and sales teams by prospecting leads, researching and reporting on the viability of leads, and cultivating sales and deals that have been closed by the team to ensure long-term success
  • Identify decision makers and initiate communication with potential partners/leads, where appropriate
  • Manage existing relationships working with senior Biz Dev and Sales staff, including:
    • Creation of LivePlan accounts, promotional codes, landing pages, and other collateral related to each key relationship
    • Project management of promotions, deals, webinars, blog posts, etc.
    • Assist with the identification, development, and promotion of events (i.e. webinars, other online events, speaking gigs, conferences, etc.)
    • Monitor and react to inbound email communication
  • Update and manage outward-facing promotional materials, including landing pages, testimonial quotes from clients, email copy, A/B test copy, etc.
  • Manage seasonal and one-off projects that support key relationships, including nationwide competitions, limited-time promotional offers, and internal team deadlines such as email send dates.  
  • Consistently assess the value of individual projects, and prioritize daily tasks accordingly
  • Document and communicate internally to all key stakeholders using the most effective format (including CRM, project management software, email, weekly team meetings, etc.)
  • Solicit feedback from team members and company management to continually improve all items above
  • Participate in crafting an ever-improving vision and strategy for the whole team, and company, using the unique day-to-day learning from this role
  • Other duties assigned as needed

  • Experience delivering product demonstrations and presentations over the phone or webinar
  • Experience and interest in Academic, Government, Non-profit, and other similar channels


  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, accounting, or a related field
  • 2+ years of account management/assistance (or similar) experience (internet or software industries is a plus, but not required)
  • Knowledge of all web-based browsers and operating systems

This is a full-time position in downtown Eugene, Oregon, working very closely with the business development and sales teams. This position offers a lot of room for advancement. Salary is commensurate with experience.
