About the role
The Inbound and Content Marketing Specialist supports wider marketing team goals like double digit increases in top-of-funnel page views and leads, and increases in keyword rankings.
They leverage keen on-page and technical SEO expertise, knowledge of data and analytics, and acute copywriting for conversion and editing skills.
This specialist creates, tests and optimizes a variety of content types. They’re able to focus in on the opportunities hidden within the data, taking a creative approach to developing email nurturing series, in-article calls to action, and landing pages. They also research opportunities and report out on metrics and analytics from tests and campaigns.
This specialist is our primary content manager across blog properties, mainly using Wordpress and HubSpot. Their attention to detail ensures we’re publishing and promoting high quality, SEO and conversion optimized, error free content.
You have demonstrated success at concise, conversion-focused copy writing, especially for email.
You’re as interested in the results—the numbers and data—as you are in the content and creativity that go into a successful article or email campaign. You know your way around Google Analytics. You have an opinion about the current Google search landscape. You’ve contributed to projects that have increased your rankings in search results, and increased on-site engagement.
You’re curious, proactive, and nimble. You’re not afraid to ask questions. You like looking at challenges from every angle, rolling up your sleeves, and running with projects.
We wouldn’t be surprised if you have strong feelings on em dashes and oxford commas. You’re the person people trust to do the final check for errors on that high-stakes message before it’s shipped out.
Your commitment to continuous learning is strong; you are a skilled communicator, comfortable giving and receiving constructive feedback. You love being part of a team, and you’re just as good at articulating solutions and possibilities as you are at identifying problems.
